• Reporting to the CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, I was responsible
for the overall strategic and operational responsibilities of three departments which include raw material
procurement and storage, manufacturing and finished products management. Responsibilities include
developing and implementing policies and procedures in the general operational realm for these departments
which contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. I operated in a highly dynamic
environment which maximised my problem-solving and change management skills while providing
leadership and coaching opportunities for my supervisory team and general staff which comprised of
approximately sixty (80) persons.
Key Achievement:
1. Fostered team building among the members of the operation departments and implemented standard operating
procedures which restructured the process flow, enabling the company to maximize output. These
efficiencies facilitated the company in becoming public recently where the employees developed confidence
and purchased shares.
Production/Product Development Manager (Honey Bun Limited, Jamaica - Bakery) 2008 to 2011
• Responsible for directing the bakery’s production processes and operations which consisted of approximately
100 persons.
