Work Experience

March 2009 – Aug 2014

Midwest Specialized/ATS, I was the terminal manager for ATS. Responsibilities include, but not

limited to: Managing day to day operations of the terminal, Coordinating work schedules, Build

a culture to improve the safety record; improve the efficiency, productivity and profit. Help

manage and set up other locations for ATS. On the Midwest Specialized side, I was the business

improvement manager, Responsibilities included, but not limited to: Implement a

software/hardware solution for the maintenance shops. Negotiate vender contracts, Help Spec

new equipment purchases, and sales of equipment. Work with drivers to improve fuel economy,

and reduce idle time.

October 2001 – March 2009

YRC Worldwide Formerly Roadway Express, Chicago Heights, IL. Shop Supervisor.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Supervising all 4 vehicle shops; coordinating work

shifts; ensuring repairs and PM’s were performed timely and economically; ordered parts;

performed fuel reports; maintained MSDS; capture and route units for service programs; educate

and instruct mechanic on troubleshoot and repairs. As Assistant Shop Manager-Purchasing fuel

for the terminal; Purchasing tires; Managing 42 tire banks; coordinate repairs and negotiating

costs with venders. Managing the Penske National Account.

May 2001 – October 2001

Advanced Truck Technology, Chicago Ridge, IL. Co-Owner. Responsibilities include, but not

limited to: Overseeing workforce; scheduling work load; negotiating contracts; troubleshooting

and repair of vehicles; accounts payable and receivable; purchasing; order parts and maintain

accurate inventor; file warranty claims; set-up and maintain computer systems.

September 1991 – May 2001

Volvo and GMC trucks of Chicago, Alsip IL. Mechanic/Shop Foreman Responsibilities include,

but not limited to: Scheduling work; opening and closing repair orders; customer billing; filing

warranty repair orders; handling customers in a professional and courteous manner; open and

troubleshooting and repair of A/C; troubleshoot and repair of ABS; troubleshoot and repair
