“Performance and emission characteristics on four stroke single cylinder diesel engine

using

transesterified ricebran oil blend with diesel”.

• Main idea of this project is to reduce the emissions which are pumped out through the exhaust

of

automobiles and testing the performance of the engine with blend biodiesel and analysing the

parameters such as thermal efficiency and brake specific fuel consumption with B5, B10, B15 and

B20.

“Steam power plant using gas stove” as a working model during model exhibition in our college.

• A steam-electric power station is a power station in which the electric generator is steam driven.

Mostly, it can be used in power plant companies, thermal power stations.

“Automatic opening of door using thermal energy” conducted on regard of engineer’s day in

our college.

• Guide: Prof. “Dr. V. Pandurangarao”, dept.of mechanical engineering.

• Idea behind the project is controlling the movement of the doors using wasted heat energy by

utilizing the principle of displacement of water; self weight principle and pulley mechanism.

Siddhartha Engineering college.
