•
translator for the Methodist Church in Honduras. This distinctive experience allowed me to view

PALMEROLA AIRPORT October 2012- December 2012
GRADUATION PROJECT
Planned, created, and analyzed a project concerning the possible construction of a new
International Airport in Honduras to replace the actual International Airport in Tegucigalpa.
Analyzed and evaluated the benefits to the country as a whole as well as the affect this would
have on the other four main airports in Honduras.
Determined that the new airport would move approximately 30% more passengers than the
current airport due to an increase in the size. This will also allow bigger commercial airplane
to land in Honduras, which would increase commerce and tourism.
My final analysis concluded that the new airport would be a positive addition to Honduras
with the addition of approximately 1 million jobs as well as a 20% increase in tourism.
AQUA SOLUTIONS COMPANY April 2012- June 2012
BUSINESS GENERATION
Charged along with my teammates to create or improve an existing product to socially benefit
a community with low resources in order to improve the living conditions of the people in the
said community.
The project we chose to improve was a dew catcher panel.
The dew catcher panels were tested at an altitude of 1000 m above sea leave (the average
altitude in most parts of Honduras), which was an important factor in our testing in order to
improve the likelihood of this project being beneficial throughout most of Honduras.
We were able to successfully capture approximately 7 liters of water per square meter, which
guaranteed an average of 10 gallons of water every day. With proper maintenance, the
intended communities will be able to maintain this level of water every day.
