"Finite Element simulation of In-circuit test(ICT) on Integrated Production
Test engineering fixture(IPTE)"
. Worked as an intern in Robert Bosch Engineering Solutions Private
Limited(RBEI), Bangalore on the topic above mentioned from 21'October
2013 till 31 July 2014.
. Finite element model of ICT setup was developed in ANSYS WORKBENCH and
the structural static simulation is performed to study the fixture
behavior and its contribution on PCB strain during ICT.
. Understood the manufacturing process of PCB in plant, various fixtures
performing the ICT, and importance of FEA in ICT. Also studied the usage
of APDL commands in FEA.
. During the course of internship a number of live projects of In-circuit
test simulation were also taken up, thus helping the layout team in
optimizing the PCB layout.
o Understood the process followed in carrying out live projects in
terms of collecting the required inputs, performing the finite
element simulation, preparing the report, communicating the results
and attending customers queries.
BE Project
(Jan-June 2011)
"Design and fabrication of vertical axis wind turbine"
. Conceptualized a solution to reduce the negative thrust generated in the
vertical axis wind turbines by providing self aligning flaps on the
rotating vanes.
. Designed and fabricated a mini wind turbine incorporating these specially
designed vanes.
. Studied various vertical and horizontal wind turbines, understood
designing of mechanical components for various loads and different
manufacturing processes involved during the course of project work.

Mysore for three days on the topic of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
. Undergone 10 days Inplant Training from Mangalore Refinery And
Petrochemicals Ltd, Mangalore to gain knowledge of the refining process
and the equipment's on sight.
Extra Curricular Activities
. Won 1st place in Mad Ads competitions in state level technical fest TIARA-
5 (2009) & 2nd place in TIARA-4 (2008).
. Spearheaded a team of 5 volunteers in organizing photography event during
State level technical fest "MAGNITUDE 2011" involving 20 participants.
. Represented my school in several inter-school painting competitions.
. Invited as a Judge for painting and sketching competition conducted by
S.C.S Nursing College.
. Represented school ball badminton team in taluk level competition.
