PROJECTS:
REMOTE HEALTH CARE VIA CELLULAR NETWORKS (George Mason University)
Project manager for a project on “Remote health care via cellular networks”. Managed the team, contributed and
organized ideas to meet the requirements. The team created strategy to demonstrate a service for connecting pat ients
and their physicians using smart phones, Bluetooth and medical devices. Architected server infrastructure using host
virtualization.
BROADBAND OPERATIONS IN AIRLINES (George Mason University)
Contributed ideas to a project on “Broadband service to airlines and landmass over Asia”. The team utilized
satellite system to meet requirements. The team developed strategy for a satellite system on space- based and
ground-based devices: GEO, MEO, LEO, radio frequency components, and baseband components like modem,
VSAT, and Earth station. The team also compared current technology with the proposed system and worked
on the improvement of applications and identified the cost of high speed connectivity, bandwidth availability,
reliability, and security.
RESEARCH PAPER ON EVPN (Ethernet Virtual Private Network)
Compared MPLS and the next generation technology E-VPN by looking at the performance of E-VPN and its
advantages over MPLS; compared cost, privacy, bandwidth usage, scalability, QoS, WAN routing and
management, protocol behavior, and level agreement.
