Job Responsibilities: Inspect works per plans and

specifications based on Standard Plan 2004, Specification 1999, Special

Provision and Contract plans. Checking quality of workmanship and material

at the job site such as inspect earth works which include excavating,

grading, back filling, compacting, Structural works like tieback wall,

retaining wall, abutment, column...and Foundations work like driving pile,

and also storm drain system, side walk, SWPPP and other public works.

Coordinate with Caltran, Contractor in traffic control which is a very

important safety part of Construction field

.The project is a mixed-use development situated on a 5 17.5 acre

including 1,575 dwelling units, 50,000 square feet of commercial uses, park

and open space, a school, a fire station and a light rail transit center

consisting of a trail1 station and transit-oriented development.

Inspecting earth works (excavating, grading, back filling, compacting

sewer system, storm drain system, driveway, side walk, culvert, flood

control system, SWPPP, Steel Bridge and other public works.

Waterline system, Sewer system. Finished collecting data, analyzing and

running model program to those of system above for City of Gardena, City of

Compton, and now continue with City of Azusa, CA.

1987- 1989: Assistant Engineer of Triton Town project, It includes Civic

center, Storm drain system, Sewer system, Roadway, Water supplying system.

Conducting professional engineering works with related to projects

activities in construction site like planning, supervising and coordinating

with foremen and superintendent. Inspecting construction works for

consistency with codes, ordinances and specification. Tracking quantity and

quality of job done.

1984-1987: Project engineer, inspector of Vinh Thuan Highway Project

which consists of 17 bridges and 38 km highway. My responsibility was

supervising and inspecting for compliance with the plans and specification

of the contract, especially in material testing for highway and pile

driving, pre-stressing operations for bridges.

1982 -1984: Surveyor and then chief of surveyor team in Cantho Stadium

Project in South Vietnam. This is a multipurpose sporting area including

3 building for Basketball and Volleyball, 7 Tenis court, 1 Soccer field

which can contain 70,000 people
