PROJECT
LED Cube Controller:
Designed a Controller that can program 3D version of Pong game onto a LED cube using
Cadence virtuoso tool. The chip is made to interface with hardware such as
SRAM/EEPROM, an 8x8x8 LED cube and 2 SNES Video game Controllers. This
Project involves creating a Programmable CPU that can run a modified CR16 RISC
Instruction set.
Motion Tracking Buggy:
Designed a wifi based remote controlled buggy with a video feed from a camera onboard
the buggy which can be streamed to a Laptop using SSH connection to the Galileo Board.
Also the buggy tracks the object using OpenCV application in the linux environment by
dynamically configuring the values of the OpenCV filters to latch onto a particular object
based on its color.
Developed a Racket code to implement an interpreter for MicroScheme.
Interfaced PCF2127AT RTC to Beaglebone black using SPI bus to keep tr ack of
time even when the power goes off or with no network connection
Designed a PCB that supports Linux based environmental monitor with Si7005
(humidity and temperature sensor), RTC, battery backup for RTC and automatic
shutdown of Linux system if AC power is lost.
Atmel Corporation, Chennai, India
INTERNSHIP
Developed an application to accurately predict the battery discharge time for mobile
phones using ATMEGA406 microcontroller chip
Undergraduate Engineering Intern, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd., Nagercoil.
ACHIEVEMENTS
FINALIST in six ‘JUGGERNAUT’S (Aptitude and programming Contest) during
2009-2011,including those held in CARTE BLANCHE’10 and ENIGMA’10
Secured First place in ‘TREASURE HUNT’, an adventurous technical event held
in ELECTROFOCUS’09, MIT.
Completed a certification course on Radiation in Indian Rare Earths Limited,
Nagercoil.
