Responsibilities :

(a) Test case design, specification and analysis:

As a Quality Analyst, I designed test cases, executed and automated the test cases for the features assigned to me. Few of the features that I have worked are alarms, events etc. in Data Fabric Manager (DFM).

As an automation test engineer I have been key person in designing complex test cases pertaining to backup and recovery .

Reviewed and provided valuable suggestions to test cases designed by other team members.

(b) Automation Testing :

Have written PERL scripts for the functional test cases. We follow agile model of development wherein the QA engineer starts with coding of test cases even before the feature is implemented. Have been very effective in adapting to this model and this has received appreciation from many of the peers as well as scrum masters.

Apart from test case automation, I have been involved in development of several proprietary tools like cluster configuration tool, vsim creation tool etc.

(c) Manual testing:

Have executed test cases with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Have filed quality bugs and tracked them till they have been fixed.

Support the developers with logs and other information which are required for fixing the bug.

Clarify the behaviour of a feature with the Product Owner in case any non-clarity.
