RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED

Ship Building (Hull shop)

• Supervision of sub assembly

• Supervision of block fairing, fit-up, welding, dry survey,

• Supervision of units activities including: block movement, lifting hook arrangement,

block support arrangement

• Supervision of unit drawing markings, block settings

• Associate with surveyor/ owner representative during surveys

• Management of contract works in a time phased manner

• Conduct daily on site meetings & co-ordinating with various departments

• Review, monitor and control of hull sub assembly activities as per planned schedule.

Ship Building (Out Fit)

• Drawing/Piping layout verification FPV (FAST PATROLING VESSEL)

• Work allocation and execution

• Provide supervision and deploy manpower to perform the operational tasks.

• List out the fabricated pipes for welding

• Conducting fit-up survey and dry survey

• Welding inspection of piping joints

• Constant follow up of the materials and allocated jobs

• Checking of pipes after fit up as per drawing

• Monitoring onboard installation of piping systems.

• Progress monitoring, reporting and status updating

• Preparing weekly reports on work progress.

• Project Co-ordination and directly reports to the Project Manager.

• Associated Onboard outfitting and block outfitting

• Conducting Pressure testing of piping systems & air pressure test of tanks.

• Submitting tanks to the Outfit QC and co-ordinate the owner survey

• Completion of remarks of the owner surveyor up to their satisfactions

• To ensure the Quality of the Outfitting works.

• Safety checks for work environment.
