plus years plus experience in regards to completions, pre-commissioning,
commissioning tasks on various Power, Industrial Gas, Petro-Chemical,
Offshore Oil& Gas projects. Managing the multi-discipline systems
completion and commissioning activities as followed:
Duties & Responsibilities
-Implement system completion and turnover process methodology throughout
project including risk assessments: Working knowledge with Opercomm Icap
and EM PEGASUS System completions management databases.
Provide field support to insure owner is involved in the process.
Plan and coordinate resources to complete commissioning activities.
Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning and completions of new projects.
Support construction planning to allow quick and efficient commissioning of
equipment and systems.
Create functional performance tests and orchestrate the tests with
contractors and owners.
Maintain commissioning documentation, packaging and completions data base
for final hand over of project.
Direct and manage field personnel that are assigned to projects.
Setting up pre-commissioning and commissioning activities into a job
sequence to monitor and following:
*Complete system walk downs and punch lists of plant leading to mechanical,
electrical and instrumentation completion.
*Coordinate and supervise on-site visits from process equipment vendors.
*Troubleshoot design and software issues during commissioning, contacting
appropriate resource to correct issue.
*Conduct qualification testing and operation of equipment, i.e. Compression
system, backup system, etc.
*Conduct review of critical systems.
*Estimate commissioning cost based on components to be commissioned.
Work History:
2/10/2014 to present: Completions/Commissioning Manager, CORE Engineering
Corpus Christi TX. Lead all systems completions and pre-commissioning
activities for Texstar 63,000 bpd NGL fraction unit. Also managing multi
discipline mechanical completion along with functional testing and all pre-
commissioning and commissioning activities.
6/21/2012 to 12/17/2013: Completions Manager, DeltaAfrik Nigeria, Lead
all completions and commissioning scope for flare reduction project that
consisted of Offshore Gas Compressor/booster station, Fuel Gas treating&
gas dehydration unit along with revamping Oil terminal flare and Produced
Water Project for Mobil Producing Nigeria EPCM-1 projects.
1/3/2012 to 6/15/2012: Commissioning Manager, Enterprise NGL Eagle Ford
Gas Plant, Lead all commissioning scope for a 600MMcf/d cryogenic NGL gas
processing trains.. Managing sub-contractor to support Pre-commissioning
activities, system completions, operations startup of train 1.
6/1/11 to 12/15/2011: Completions Manager, Jacobs Field Services, Port
Arthur TX Movita CEP Managed all commissioning aspects for the new Cat Feed
Hydrotreater Unit, PS4( 400MW) utility unit consisting of 4 Nuovo Pignone
GTG/HRSG and associated demineralized water and instrument air areas.
Directly managed over 100 personal of the Pre-commissioning sub-contractor
staff, along with commissioning in house team directly working with Motiva
Operation to support RFSU.
4/19/10 to 4/15/11: Commissioning Team Leader, Sonangolpp Angola, Africa.
Lead Sonangolpp performance testing( Block 4) activities for
120kBPD,260kBPD water with gas re-injection FPSO commissioning in Block
4.However main project(Block 2) I Lead Sonangolpp commissioning activities
for 308MMSCFD Offshore Gas Injection Platform. Main focus was coordinating
the construction contractor to meet mechanical completion for RFSC. Managed
all commissioning activities along with consumables for startup. Organized
commissioning team to operate & maintain platform 4 months after startup.
12/4/09 to 3/23/10: Commissioning Engineer, KBR, Saudi Arabia: Lead sub-
completions and commissioning activities for offshore multi-well oil and
gas plat. Main focus was coordinating the sub-system function test,
scheduling and organizing vender support. Perform functional test for
client sign off on all major equipment prior to startup.
10/1/08 to 11/4/09: Commissioning Lead Engineer, Shaw Stone& Webster Arabia
LTD, Sharq Ethylene Project Jubail, Saudi Arabia: Managed commissioning
activities for 1300KTA Ethylene Cracker. Main focus was pre-commissioning
(4) Mitsubishi Turbine Compressors check out and commissioning of 115
additional systems. Supported startup for client.
3/1/08 to 8/15/08: Commissioning Engineer Shaw Stone & Webster, Saudi
Aramco Petro-Rabigh HOFCC Project. Commissioning activates o 1300 KTA
Ethylene Cracker& High Olefins Cat Cracker. Responsibilities were inclusive
as for all pre-commissioning and commissioning.
7/16/07 to 4/7/08: Commissioning Lead Engineer - Shaw Stone&Webster, PSEG
Bridgeport Harbor Mercury Control Project. Responsibilities were inclusive
for commissioning back end mercury reduction coal fire power project, PJFF
(Wheelabrator) bag house project. Pre- commissioning functional and
performance test along with all aspects of startup management as main
focus.
1/07 to 7/2/07:- Commissioning Manager Linde Group, William Opal TXP-5
Unit. Commissioning& Performance test support performed on a 350MMSCFD
Natural Gas Cryogenic NGL plant. Accomplishment included working heavily
with Linde process engineering to trouble shoot demethanizer tray re-
designs and final managing of construction contractor final punch list
close out.
5/06 to 12/06: Commissioning Manager-Linde Group HU-4
Managed pre-commissioning activities on 100MMSCFD Hydrogen Steam Methane
Reformer. The following duties were performed: I&E, mechanical check out,
inspection of sub contactors to meet mechanical completion, validation of
Safety shutdown system and assist operations during steam blows and
refractory dry out.
10/05 to 5/06: Commissioning Manager-Linde Group BOC. Toledo, Ohio. Pre-
Commissioning duties performed on two 50MMSCFD Steam Methane Reformers with
PSA units. Managed all aspects of pre-commissioning, commissioning duties.
7/05 to 10/05: Commissioning Lead -Bechtel/EPC Mountain View Project.
Responsibilities were inclusive for commissioning for two, 2 on 1 GE Frame
7FA combine cycle power plant gas turbine generators and BOP. Plant
capacity (800MW)
2/05 to 6/05: Commissionioning/Owner Rep. at Valero Refinery Ardmore O.K.
Performed pre-commissioning and start up on a Sulfur & Amine Recovery, CO
Boiler unit, G.E.9m Steam turbine generator. Responsibilities were
inclusive as owners Rep. to manage all discipline of commissioning.
10/03 to 10/04: Commissioning/Startup Lead -Kellogg Brown& Root, Southern
Iraq Oil Field, Responsibilities were inclusive with start-up and
commissioning activities that consisted of 12 high pressure water cluster
pumping stations for a 935,000BPD oil field. The field consisted of oil and
gas separation, with the projects main focus on water injection of well
displacement and startup of large water plant, including 12 GE TM-2500 gas
turbine generators.
7/03 to 9/03, Commissioning Manager. Responsible for the field calibration
and turbine monitoring &control system on a 22 simple cycle Pratt&Whitney
FT8
1/03 to 5/03: Commissioning Lead, Black & Veatch;G.W.F.Tracy, CA Peaker
site. Responsibilities were inclusive with start-up and commissioning
activities on a 2GE frame 7ea gas turbine generators (170MW) including
S.C.R.
8/02 to1/03: Commissioning Lead Engineer, Florida Power & Light ;
responsibilities are inclusive with start-up&commissioning activities on a
(1800mw) combine cycle with GE frame 7fa gas turbine generator with a 3 on
1 configuration with Toshiba steam turbine and Westinghouse Ovation for
DCS.
4/02 to7/02: Commissioning Manager, PIC Group for PWPS peaker sites.
Responsibilities were inclusive of commissioning and performance testing
Pratt & Whitney 50mw aero-derivative gas turbine generators. Also trained
operators for up coming peaker season daily operational duties. Utilizing
GE Fanuc for BOP PLC.
11/01 to 4/02: Commissioning Engineer Engineer Black & Veatch for Rio
Nogales Constellation Project. (800MW) Start up duties for three GE Frame
7FA combined cycle gas turbine generators and BOP. Utilizing Mark V gas
turbine controls, and Westinghouse Ovation for BOP and steam turbine
control system. Plant capacity 800mw.
4/01 to 10/01: Commissioning & Startup Manager, Technical Diagnostic
Services, for Handsome Lake Constellation Project. 600MW Responsibilities
were inclusive of the precommissioning, commissioning, and start-up
activities for five Pratt & Whitney 50 MW units. Stayed on until winter as
consultant to teach operators to run plant. Plant capacity 250mw.
12/00 to 4/01: Commissioning Lead, Technical Diagnostic Services, for
University Park Constellation Project. Responsibilities were inclusive of
the precommissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities for six Pratt
& Whitney 50 MW units.Plant capacities (300MW).
9/00 to 11/00: Startup Lead Scheck Technical Services, for Common Wealth
Edison Nuclear Stations. Responsible for Controls and Calibrations on a
Westinghouse 900 MW steam turbine for the refueling outages at Byron and
Braidwood Nuclear Power Stations.
6/00 to 9/00: Outage Lead, Fluor Global Services, for Topeka Vitamin
Plant. Responsible for supervising for direct and contract I&C Technicians
and construction electricians for a turnaround at Wilmington N.C. facility.
3/00 to 6/00: Commissioning Engineer Electrical Contracting Services,
for TVA New Johnsonville, TN. Project. Verified instrument and controls
for four GE Frame 7EA 85 MW gas turbines with Mark V controls. Inclusive

Coffeyville, KS. Responsible for all commissioning activities for a Coke
to fertilizer unit.

Corpus Christi, TX. Responsible for routine and emergency instrumentation
work orders plant wide.

Performed trip test on control systems plant wide with O.S.H.A. 9, 010
certification standards, with Honeywell Loveland Document program. Used
Triconex as PLC and Honeywell TDC 3,000. Also responsible for
commissioning new control loops and resolution of problems with ladder
logic on Triconex PLC systems.
7/97 to 7/98: Outage Advisor, Rabalais Electric Inc. for Citgo Refining,

instrumentation work orders plant wide.
