Attention: Lisa Crawford
I am inquiring about the open position for a SLPA. I graduated from Arizona State University
with my Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science and plan to continue my education while
working as a SLPA and obtaining my graduate degree. I have a passion for working with
children and I don’t see a better way to learn than through experience in your company. I am a
very loyal person and hope to find a company that will appreciate my commitment and
encourage my future goals.
My first years of college I majored in Elementary Education and was able complete observation
hours and electives for classroom management. These resources gave me an opportunity to see
what teachers go through. Working in a team is crucial to success and being able to relate to the
environments of a classroom. I also believe part of what makes a speech therapist that much
better at their craft is being able to advocate for their young students and communicate with
parents. I was fortunate enough to do my clinical fellowship with Cave Creek Unified and
learned invaluable experiences in communicating with parents and colleagues, and keeping
students engaged.
At your earliest convenience please give me a call so we can set up an interview. I would like to
discuss the current opening as a SLPA and my qualifications. You can reach me by phone (623)
332-1191 or by email *************@*******.***.
Available for immediate hire with a flexible schedule.
I look forward to your call,
Jordan Pierce
