Married: Wife: Connie for 43 years. 3 children and 9 grandchildren.
Education: Graduated: Darlington High School 1968, Milligan College 1972
with BS, and Indiana State University with MS in 1977. Currently licensed
P&C and L&H agent.
Military: US Army: Military Police/Corrections Officer 1972-1974
Vocation: Teacher and Coach at Crawfordsville High School 1974 - 1981,
Insurance and Financial Services from 1981 to present (Majority of the time
employed at American Family Insurance Received numerous awards and sales
recognition). Worked for Sho-Pro of Indiana in 2013 through February of
2014.
Ministry Involvement:
Crawfordsville, IN:
First Baptist Church: Sunday School Teacher
Calvary Chapel: Was Ordained for ministry by the local leadership of
Calvary Chapel. Elder (Oversight) Leadership for church. Prison Ministry:
Got many people involved in Prison Ministry locally, at Pendleton, and
Nationally through the Bill Glass Prison Ministry that conducted
Evangelistic Outreach on weekends throughout the United States. I also
supported the Prison Fellowship Ministry. My wife and I were always
involved in home group Bible studies within our local church and within the
Christian community.
Community Spiritual Activity:
Was sponsor of an active High School Chapter of the Fellowship of
Christian Athletes and was a member of an active local Adult Chapter of the
FCA.
Was a member of Church Men United of Crawfordsville.
Participated in numerous Community Bible Studies over a 7 year
period.
Navigators: Spent 3 years completing the Design For Discipleship
series of study. Also learned the Navigators Topical Memory System.
Greencastle:
Was active member of the Greencastle Christian Church. Home Groups
and often assisted with the Youth because my children were at the "Youth
Group" age.
Terre Haute:
Attended Maryland Community Church and was involved in various
activities in the church and community.
Church:
Led Men's Ministry Activities which included a heavy involvement in
Promise Keepers locally and nationally. I served on a local committee to
organize Christian men from Terre Haute to attend the Washington DC
conference in October of 1994. We also sponsored a number of local
activities for PK men and their families locally that involved various
local churches.
Have served on alter prayer teams and intercessory prayer teams.
Have served as an elder for about 8 years at MCC.
I am active in Home Group ministry.
Attended 2nd Missionary Baptist Church for almost 7 years once each
month in Terre Haute, IN as an outreach ministry. The inspiration for this
came from Promise #6 of the Seven Promises of a Promise Keeper: It stated:
A Promise Keeper will be committed to unity by promoting racial and
denominational reconciliation within the Body of Christ. This was a great
relationship building experience and I learned much through it. I had the
complete support of my pastor at MCC.
Noblesville, IN

(Frontline Ministries, Strategic Partners, and individuals) done
strategically as well as for personal needs.
Served in GKC for 4 years.
Engaged in Men's Ministry but not full time.
Lamplighter Ministries:
I have served as a volunteer since 2006 and have consistently served
on Lamplighter teams from 2005 to 2010. In 2010 I became Community
Shepherd and served in that capacity for the last 4 years. As community
shepherd I had spiritual oversight responsibility (pastoral) for the
Lamplighter Community. I also had responsibility each month for the
Homecoming services held each month. I have served on the "Quad" which is
the local chapter leadership team for the last 4 years. I also served on
the team that helped put together our by laws at our reorganization 5 years
ago.
