Selected Accomplishments
. Operational responsibility for over 2500 SKU's in diverse manufacturing
plants and distribution facilities operating both domestically and
internationally in Asia, Western Europe, Mexico, Middle East and Canada.
. Consolidated 15 Western European distribution centers into five strategic
locations. Project completed in six months, and saved over $10 million
within one year of reorganization.
. Managed $1.9B procurement/purchasing program operated by the Air Force
Security Assistance Center (AFSAC), Wright-Patterson AFB OH providing
support for Department of Defense non-standard and hard-to-support
standard supply and maintenance items for Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
partners. Process over 20,000 requisitions per year covering the range of
dollars from micro purchases up to and including TINA purchases. Complied
with FAR and ITAR requirements.
. Responsible for operational turnaround of $1.2M loss to $44K profit in 12
months for a division's distribution center operations. Responsible for
inventory integrity, latest inventory at largest facility with $7.4M of
inventory recorded an inventory discrepancy of only $14K. Operational/P&L
responsibility for 29 sites, operating budget $70M, transportation budget
in excess of $12M.
. Total operational/budget responsibility for Logistics Center. P&L
responsibility for freight spend $150M for truckload, intermodal and
dedicated fleet, $30M for LTL and small package, $4.1M for rail, $2M for
warehousing operations and $1M for ocean.
. Contracted to Department of Defense, Task Force for Business Stability
and Operations in Iraq, Business Transformation Agency (BTA). Charged
with re-starting production at Iraqi companies and engaging Iraqi business
and government sectors at the Executive and Ministerial level to promote
stability and growth. Accomplished through a comprehensive evaluation of
current capacity, equipment and marketability of goods, responsibility
included filling all operational/financial gaps, acquiring the required
investment funds and insuring the re-opening of the factories and the re-
employment of the Iraqi people. Responsible for the purchasing of over
$500M of supplies and parts necessary to re-tool the Iraqi manufacturing
process.
Recent Career History
Program Manager, ITT-JV. Responsible for instituting and maintaining a
management process that is responsible for managing a IDIQ contract,
individual Task Orders, overseeing all Contractor personnel, managing the
cost of performing the contract and Task Orders. Responsible for providing
strategic advice and guidance to the Logistics Transformation Office on
practical commercial implementation experience with ERPs.
Program Manager, URS/LSLI. Managed $1.9B procurement/purchasing program
operated by the Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC), Wright-
Patterson AFB OH.
Principal and Subject Matter Expert, CSC. Performed as the Engineering
Change Proposal (ECP) Manager for the Expeditionary Combat Support System
(ECSS) project in Beavercreek Ohio. Contracted to the Department of
Defense, Task Force for Business Stability and Operations in Iraq.
