Lhoist North American, Birmingham, AL 2006 - 2013
• Managed up to 23 employees as the quarry production supervisor.
• Managed 9 mechanics & 4 electricians as the plant maintenance supervisor.

maintained a $1.1 million dollar final year to date spending. The Brierfield budget was the only one
of five Alabama operations to stay under budget for the 2008 spending measurement.

• Developed and started up new air compressor repair vendors to service air compressor customers in
areas where company owned service centers where not located in a territory.
• Responsible for maintaining 100% zero lost program for the parts and equipment inventory.
• Developed and implemented a streamline pricing module for air compressor preventative
maintenance pricing programs and removed the use of old complicated labor plus parts pricing
modules to make it easier for the sales team as well as the technicians to explain to customers. This
increased annual preventative maintenance growth by 20% and reduced credit & re-bills by 35% for
the year.
• Reorganized and established new departmental paperwork processes and paper work flow. This
reduced the loss of paper work and increased accountability by 100%. This also saved the company
an estimated 4600 loss man hours per year which cost the company an average of $84,000 per year
in none productive man hours.
• Improved and standardized company business processes within the entire service department by
implementing a service price increased aligned with national standards instead of local standards.
This lead to a 29% increase in operating income profit and generating 1.4 million dollars in service
revenue. The next year the operating income profit increased to 34% generating 1.9 million dollars
in service revenue.
