Role: Lead/Onsite Coordinator for Ariba (On H1-B visa)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our client is one of the leaders in chemical industry

and using Ariba Buyer 9r1 for all of their indirect expenses. They are

using 2 downtown stream modules - Buyer for indirect spend and Ariba T&E

module to capture expenses through PCard charges or non-charges spend.

Key Accountabilities:

o Currently in the client facing role as Onsite Coordinator/Team Lead

operating from client location.

o Gather functional business requirements, converting them into

technical design and make sure deliverables are on time.

o Currently leading proposed plan for upgrade from OnPremise to OnDemand

solution from technical perspective with Ariba Inc and client.

o Experience on SAP T&E OnCloud version.

o Lead and execute annual activities related to Service Pack upgrades

and Disaster recovery. Track releases of new service packs and

versions; analyze defects fixed in later versions and, scope and

impact of upgrading to latest releases.

o Leading a project to move all Ariba interfaces from weblogic to SAP

PI. It required high understanding of existing logics and coordination

between the teams.

o Active contributor in Accenture Ariba capability. Working with

Accenture Ariba capability leads in building up training documents for

Ariba upstream and downstream modules like Contract Compliance,

Collaborative requisitioning, catalog maintenance etc.

o Work with client in gathering details for JSOX audit to make sure we

o Come out with test scripts, test plan and test cases for all

requirements.

o Implementation on complex requirements. Working on custom eForms,

approval rules, Integration Toolkit and any other field level

configuration changes.

processes like middleware team "SAP PI" which is used for integration

between Ariba and SAP; Helios for cognos reporting; SAP portal.

o Hold weekly and monthly meeting to know the status of all

deliverables.

and minimize risk of human errors.

1) Production Support for a healthcare client

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Client was using Buyer 8.2 as an e-Procurement tool

globally which was further integrated with JD Edwards as an ERP system and

Peoplesoft as HRMS system. WIPRO is responsible to provide full end to end

L2 support as well as Development support for Catalogs.

Key Accountabilities:

o Catalog Development for static and punch-out catalogs in all the

environments - Dev, QA and production.

o Performing end to end support both technical as well as functional and

resolve the issues within the SLAs.

o Prepare the Functional documents by performing reverse engineering of the

code whenever required.

o Migration activity involving migration of code from Dev to QA or QA to

production environments using change management tool followed by

performing post migration steps involving compilation of java files,

checkmeta, import TIBCO sheets and restart of servers.

o Performing disk utilization activities to maintain disk space in the UNIX

server involving cleanup and archiving of old logs and archiving of all

attachment files older than 14 months which can later be un-archived on

request.

o Performing daily monitoring of schedule tasks and updating the technical

team for any anomalies.

o Monitoring orders and taking necessary actions.

2) Upgrade COE for a major retail corporation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Client was running Buyer 8.2 with DB2 as database

which needs to be upgraded to Buyer 9r1 with Oracle database. Apart from

upgrade COE, I was also responsible for providing L3 support involving

enhancement and bug fixing.

Key Accountabilities:

o Installation and configuration of vanilla instances for Buyer 8.2 as well

as 9r1 required for performing upgrade COE testing

o Performing migration activities involving Task Harness process.

o Understanding the business flow of client

o Bug fixing in the already existing buyer 8.2 instance and implementation

of new logics into the system.

o Testing new implemented changes in the system.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

E-Procurement production support which is further integrated with SAP and

JD Edwards as an ERP system encompasses providing support for the full

procurement to payment process for both material and services. This

Catalog Management.

Change Request Testing includes analyzing the Functional Design Document

and testing the change request for the particular change window. Also

involved in customizing Supplier Set-up form using Ariba E-Forms.

o Designing of an eForm for setting up a new Supplier in Ariba Buyer.

o Analyzing the Functional Design Documents and execute Test cases in Ariba

Buyer Production / QA / Staging Servers and generate Test Reports.

o Loading and unloading of catalogs into the production environment which

includes pre validation and post validation before and after loading

catalogs, sending reports, analyzing and fixing issues and closing

tickets.

o Provide full support to end users.

o Generate reports using Ariba Analysis.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The RM(Revenue Management) Application is designed specifically for

Practice Leaders and Project Managers of HCU PLM & Supp Relationship Mgt.
