. Led initiative to find a second aluminum supplier, aluminum being the

sole raw material in Luxfer's product. Oversaw global team charged with

locating and sourcing additional suppliers for plants in the US and

department. Established Luxfer's Distribution Center; leased the real

estate, hired staff, developed the first distribution work instructions,

planned and stocked targeted finished goods inventories, and hired a 3PL

to manage freight routes and rate negotiations. OTIF improved 15% from

75% to 90%; reduced lead-times in target markets from 2-weeks to 24 hours

either critical financial value or required for plant production. Cycle

Luxfer is the leading manufacturer of high-pressure Aluminum Gas cylinders

worldwide with $150MM in global sales.

Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, promoted to a newly created position

leading supply chain initiatives for Luxfer's aluminum business in North

America, South America and parts of the Asia-Pacific region. Provided

leadership to a team of five direct reports and 10 indirect reports in

areas of Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Human Resources, and SAP. Held

shared oversight for a $50MM P&L supporting the manufacturing site; managed

freight budget and weekly P&L forecast.

. Selected to participate in the Luxfer Professional Management

Development program.

. Spearheaded and coordinated the integration of new products into

existing manufacturing sites after the closure of two plants.

Challenged to qualify new products at the local plant and the European

plant. Coordinated the qualification process with Operations and

Engineering while understanding the Customer requirement. Efforts

resulted in a generally seamless transition for the customer and a

savings of millions-of-dollars by closing redundant capacity and fully

utilizing open capacity at the remaining sites.

. Created a cycle count program in SAP to improve inventory record

accuracy for the MRP system and deliver root cause analysis for

resolving inventory problems. Established cycle count criteria and

trained a full-time cycle counter in the counting and root cause

process. Achieved IRA over 95% for the last 60 months and reduced

inventory losses YOY by .5%.

. Developed a rough cut planning model to accurately convey production's

ability to produce the sales and inventory forecasts that could be

integrated into the financial forecast.

. Led efforts to jumpstart production after a fire destroyed a critical

piece of equipment. Coordinated activities of maintenance and outside

contractors working round the clock rebuilding the machine while

overseeing the procurement of critical machine pieces. Restored

production in seven days rather than the month originally projected.

Delivered all year-end sales on time with minimal disruption to Luxfer

and its customer base.

2004)

Led supply chain and all aspects of operations for a 100,000-square foot

manufacturing facility employing 110 unionized employees. Managed product

transition from the Australian operation to the US after the Australian

facility closed.
