I oversaw the retail supply chain for the 12 vessels in their day boat tour operations, and their 2
vessels in their Alaska Dream Cruises division. I communicated objectives to key personnel in
procurement, logistics & distribution, negotiated contracts with vendors to reduce cost and
maximize efficiency. Developed policies, procedures, and create a budget workbook for tracking
costs and sales onboard the Juneau division fleet.
CRUISE WEST, Seattle, Washington –
January 2007 – September 2010
Sr. Manager of Hotel Operations
I was responsible for the overall development and delivery of hotel services onboard the vessels.
I lead and coached the hotel managers, along with applicable Seattle operations staff throughout
the year. I made sure that the vessels were adhering to the corporate brand standards in guest
satisfaction, hotel budget, and hotel staffing. I also collaborated with guest programs and product
development managers to ensure maximum guest satisfaction was attained.
Quality Assurance/Guest Relations Manager
My responsibilities were to manage guest relations by responding to all guest correspondence,
inquiries, complaints, and praise in a highly personalized manner. I kept an organized record of
all guest issues, concerns, and requests. I was the on-call contact for guest related issues that
occurred while a tour was in process, and acted as a liaison for emergencies.
Hotel Manager.
While working onboard the vessels, I oversaw supervising hotel staff, making sure that they
adhered to CDC/FDA health standards and company brand standards. While working with the
Master onboard, we maintained a high level of training, safety awareness, and morale with our
