centers within the division of Perioperative Services including the Main
Operating Room, Trauma Operating Room, Endoscopy, Sterile Processing,
Ambulatory Surgery and Anesthesia Services. Accomplishments include the
implementation of cost savings strategies including custom pack
standardization, low unit of measure inventory, standardization of
physician preference items, automated point of use supply inventory and
charge capture, construct pricing for spinal implants, contract pricing for
osteobiologic products, and development of a capitated pricing structure
for total joint implants. Co-authored a white paper on Intraoperative
Surgical Case Management.

for nursing practice. Accountable for the collaboration of clinical and
non-clinical services in planning, implementing and evaluating patient
care. Accomplishments included successful regulatory compliance surveys,
Meditech information system implementation in all clinical areas including
the Operating Room, reduction of physician preference items in the
operating room, radiology and cardiac catheterization lab, maintaining
contract compliance for supply and capital items and implementing the role
of the Clinical Resource Manager hospital-wide.
