I was working on Heavy C and D checks, engine removals and tear downs on 747’s,

767’s, 737’s, 727’s, MD 80’s, and DC 9’s. I was also responsible for keeping all paperwork in

order per FAA regulations.

05/2013 to 09/2013 Parker Hannifin Aerospace Co. Irvine, CA

Assembler and Tester Technician

I was a part of a preproduction unit that involves extensive hours working with

Engineering, IT, Designers and Customers. It is a Fuel Metering Unit (fuel pump) currently

being used on the Airbuses and the 787’s APU’s. I was responsible for inspecting all parts before

production and building the motors and pumps while performing various testing and programing

for each motor and pump at various stages of the build. Then I would proceed to build the whole

unit and perform more test and programing throughout the final build and finally run the whole

unit with extreme limits to verify it is ready to go on a plane. Finally I work with engineering to

fix the routs and helped put the CMM together.

At their Singapore location I took over the responsibilities of program manager and was

responsible for incoming inspections, production inspections and final inspections. I also became

the liaison officer for Delta and worked closely with the engineer. I had to organize all their

paper work and create a new efficient filing system. I watched over 30+ mechanics to make sure

the quality of work done by them on the 747s was done properly. The scope of work that we

worked on was the passenger seats, sidewall panels, door jams, stairway panels, crew rests,

storage boxes, galleys, and lavatories.

Airframe and Powerplant Technician

I took part in the Heavy D Check of a Boeing 767 with a JT9D engine and a Heavy C

check on a Boeing 727. Removed all inspection panels and performed my job description

according to the work order. Worked on interior: removal and installation (galley, seats,

emergency exits, oxygen mask, cabin filters, ceiling, control cables, etc.). Operated the scissor

lift and bow lift to complete jobs in and around the aircraft, removed damaged nut plates, striped

screws, and would use easy outs when needed. Completed AD’s (Airworthiness Directives)

when required to do so.
