OBJECTIVE
I seek to apply for the position of HSE Representative within your organization. I have a strong interest
in Health, Safety and Environment as evidenced by my education and work experience. Having been at
Texas Terminals in the Health, Safety and Environmental Department, I was under the direct supervision
of HSE Manager. In this position, I learned most of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
code of federal regulations as it applies to general industry (CFR1910) Marine Terminal (CFR1917) long
shoring operation (CFR1918) Construction industry (CFR1926) and ship yard industry (CFR1915). In
this position, I was able to learn and apply EPA regulations as it relates to the Clean Water and Clean Air
Act. In this position, I was also responsible for oil spill cleanup, investigation and reporting. I was also
responsible for quality assurance in the safe handling and stowage of cargo operation, environmental
quality and evaluation of quality processes as it relates to operation and procedures. Having gained all this
knowledge, I am confident; I can make a valuable contribution to your organization by ensuring employee
safety through compliance, risk management and mitigation, training and development, mentoring and
coaching.
