AIG has a number of different booking and processing systems worldwide to

support the business. Its Home Office management receives premium & loss

information through the only consistent method of collecting detail data on

a worldwide basis, the Overseas General Insurance System (OGIS).

Global Portfolio Management (GPM) System also known as OGIS-EIS

(Overseas General Insurance System - Executive Information System) is a new

analytical reporting tool. The information is viewed in different formats

such as Cubes, Dashboards and Reports. Users can generate required reports

using different dimensions or measures. Users can also drill up/down on

Cubes, Dashboards and Reports to areas / sections such as Region/ Country

wise, Year/Quarter/Month-wise, Division/Profit Centre wise etc. This helps

business management to manage portfolios effectively.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with Business Analyst and business users in requirement

gathering, creation of FSD and TSD.

This project contains more than 10 Application in Cognos which are

widely divided into MIS and Non-MIS.I am the primary SPOC for Non-MIS

applications like FMS(Fund Management System), TAAS (Technical Assistance

and Advisory Services), AS (Advisory Systems),AML(Anti Money Laundering).

Responsibilities:

1. Used Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio for Report design in

Cognos BI version 8.2/8.4.

2. Expertise with Framework Manager in building models and publishing

packages and reporting.

3. Expertise in implementing durable Layered Structure of the model taking

Data Layer, Model Layer and Presentation Layer, and Implemented the

changes made to the database into the Layered structure of the model by

re importing query subjects in the Data Layer and remapping query

subjects in the presentation layer.

4. Performed update object on the model query subjects for every change

made to the entities in the database and remapped Query items and verify

model functionalities.

5. Created packages combining data from multiple data sources using

Framework Manager.
