Working in various industries from Automotive sales and finance to Large market account representative
at American Express Corporation has prepared me for management as I understand the delegation, time
management and commitment management requires. One common denominator that I have experienced in
every industry is you have to go above and beyond to distinguish yourself from the competition, it can be small
gestures but to stand apart from everyone else it is required.

Accounts payable clerk
Berlin Auto - Toledo, OH - January 2011 to December 2013
Responsibilities
Assessing parts orders and vendor bills and logging each part with its corresponding repair job was essential
to tracking our profit and cost on each job. After confirming a parts order I would enter in the job and provide
payment to our vendors.
Accomplishments
After starting a system where we billed and paid under the job number I assig ed to each collision job the
business was able to see exactly what percent of profit we were making on each job after all costs and labor.
Skills Used
I demonstrated time management as I worked alone without a boss to direct,me on my daily duties. I also was
the first point of contact with customers and would refer them to ownership if I deemed necessary.
Executive Assistant to general manager

Responsibilities
Assisting the general manager with th e daily operations was my responsibility. Answering all calls on our
switchboard and forwarding them to their proper departments along with fielding calls and assessing if it was
necessary to turn the call over to management was required as he had many employees to over see and could
not respond personally to every customer issue. Filing any necessary paperwork and dealing with any vendors
and collecting their bills along with scheduling managements appointments was my responsibility.
Accomplishments
Making sure the general sales manager has as much time available to assist sales staff in closing deals allowed
for increase in sales. So I took over with assisting in completing as much paperwork for the sales manager
which made him available to energize and excite the sales staff.
Skills Used
Using customer service skills was essential in handling as many cuser calls as possible without turning over
to management. I learned that most people just want you to listen and be respectful if they have a complaint
or issue.

Responsibilities
I was responsible in handling our large market account clients. Answering incoming calls from our clients and
striving to handle any and all account issues on the first call is what makes American Express a world leader.
Accomplishments
In a corporation as large as American.Express its hard to make a big impact. But I believe the clients that
called in with issues on their account that I couldve just dealt with very quickly but took my time to review the
entire account and address all the issues I believe I had a positive affect on every one of those clients.
Skills Used
Assessing an account and being able to see the current issues and even assessing issues that could arise at
a later date made me an affective customer service represenative. Being efficient and always being mindful
of the customer and their needs is crucial in any service position when dealing with clients over the phone
or in person.
