individual to gain control over psychiatric or emotional
symptoms, assisting the individual to adapt to his/her life

supportive counseling and/or problem focused interventions in

individual to manage symptoms which may be interfering with
achieving academic progress, not to directly teach academic

begin in early adolescence and focus on preparing the consumer
for adulthood and transition in to services for adults.
