I STARTED AS A MACHINE OPERATOR IN THE CORE ROOM AT CATERPILLAR IN 1999.
AS TIME PROGRESSED, I WAS MOVED INTO SEVERAL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS AS
BUSINESS DICTATED. I COULD RUN OVER 90 % OF THE MACHINES INCLUDING A MONO-
RAIL, FORKLIFTS, SKIDSTEER AND A NON-MOBILE CRANE. I WAS ALSO A SUPERVISOR
OVER ONE LINE FOR 3 MONTHS.
I WAS HIRED AT THE MIAMI HERALD IN 2006 AS FIELD SUPERVISOR, PROMOTED TO
DISTRICT SALES MANAGER IN 2007,SUPERVISED A CREW OF 10 PEOPLE FOR 6 YEARS,
BRINGING SALES UP TO 25,000 PAPERS A MONTH.
