Textron Systems - McAlester, OK

2008 - Present

Sr. Production Control Planner/Analyst IV

Responsible for LEAN production cells, planning, scheduling and follow up,

along with establishing and implementing Kanban levels for entire

production floor to insure build rate. Coordination of three computer

systems which include SAP, CDM, and Apriso to ensure proper documentation

and genealogy for batch, serial number, and lot control inventories.

Established a system to verify Batch/Lot controlled inventory for both

internal and vendor supplied components. Generate and publish receiving

report daily and, when needed, perform a quality usage decision. Review

and implement all material change notices and engineering change notices

throughout production floor. Have started implementing a "pull system"

with cooperate warehouse with a one week lead time for Kanban inventory

parts. Successfully implemented a streamlined, uninterrupted production

line for receiving goods, issuing components to the production floor,

completing the build process, and the shipping of completed units. On the

team to organize the stock room, establish cycle counting matrics, and bin

Production Control Manager, Relief Manager

Responsible for hiring, training and supervising the performance of

employees; which covered the shipping, receiving, stockroom and gauge

manufacturing departments. Managed all sales and work orders which ensured

the smooth transitions and coordination with all other departments. Also

filled in as Relief manager for purchasing and operations.

. Hands on experience with over 27,000 top assembly products with a

combination of custom logos, artwork, special fitting, military gauges

etc.

. Member of management team that worked to logistically plan and implement

Lean Cell Manufacturing, which increased productivity and brought lead

times down from over six weeks to one week. Also established Kanban

levels and signals for production floor and warehouse with visual tools

for replenishing inventory as well as visual instructions and shadow

boards with product types to resolve language barrier issues.

. Participated on management team for computer conversion from IBM System

34 to ROI Manage 2000, which resulted in better inventory tracking,

smoother flow of orders and increased productivity for manufacturing

. Worked with system administrator to establish MRP, MPS, QC and Cycle

Counting modules on computer system which resulted in less paperwork,

double handling of products, and lowered inventory.

. Spearheaded department in 1999 to reduce inventory; exceeded goal of 100K

by

eliminating slow and non-moving stock and purging system of dead stock

numbers.

. Experienced in coordination with all departments including customer

service to ensure orders are completed and shipped per customer

requirements.

. Mentored Stock Room Supervisor in inventory control system. Mentored

Department Supervisor in promotion to Production Supervisor. Mentored
