• Field experience: 40 hours in Kindergarten, 2 years Work Study in 1st grade. 30
hours in 2nd grade. Student taught in 3rd and 4th grade. 3 hours at Turning Point and
Laurel County Day Treatment.
• Community: I tutored dyslexic students a total of 40 hours. Collaborated with Knox-
Whitley Animal Shelter, Maurice’s, and Oak Grove Elementary to raise items and
money for the local animal shelter. Helped to coordinate a booth at Oak Grove’s Fall
Festival.
• Training: 3 hours of Portfolio training at Whitley Middle School and Oak Grove.
Completed a 14 week Learning Disability program through James Stillman Learning
Center.

• For seven years I have been employed fulltime as a pharmacy technician, while also
attending the University as a full a full-time student. Unfortunately, due to the scarcity
of teaching positions in the area in which I live, I still continue to seek a full-time
teaching position.
