Welders, and 4 SAMS-E Clerks. Our responsibility is to provide maintenance and logistical
support to the mission essential Route Clearance Vehicles (RCV). We sustain this with a 98%
readiness rate on over 98 RCV’s in the South West Region of Afghanistan.

37th Engineer Battalion Maintenance Technician

Served as the Maintenance Technician and Platoon Leader in a rapid world deploying Airborne Unit.
Provided technical expertise and oversight ensuring organizational maintenance, repairs and services
of 85 pieces of engineer equipment (dozers, graders, scrappers, etc.) valued at 10 million dollars
stayed at a 98% readiness rate. While deployed to Forward Observation Base (FOB) Sharana
Afghanistan I was appointed as the liaisons for ManTech (IED- Defeat) Team to ensure
maintenance continuity between the military and the civilians. I was awarded my first “Bronze Star”
and the “Combat Action Badge” after my performance during this 12 month deployment.
20th Engineer Brigade Maintenance Advisor

Served as the Brigade Maintenance Advisor to the Brigade Commander regarding overall
maintenance and safety of over 1,800 pieces of engineer equipment to include 367 items of rolling
stock and 84 items of power generation equipment valued in excess of 890 million dollars. Managed
the maintenance and logistical operations for 12 units consisting of 278 maintenance personnel.
Coordinated and conducted the Brigade Material Readiness Review ensuring a 98% equipment
readiness rate.
HHC, 30th Engineer Battalion Maintenance Technician

Served as the Battalion Maintenance Advisor for a Geospatial Engineer Battalion. Advisor to the
Battalion Commander regarding the overall maintenance and safety of over 312 pieces of
Topographical (Map Making) equipment to include 217 pieces of rolling stock and 22 power
generation assets worth more than 400 million dollars. Managed the maintenance and logistical
operations for three units at over a 95% equipment readiness rate with 54 maintenance soldiers.
