Manager at Fordham Post Office Station managing 80 employees.
Controlled all daily operations including: incoming and outgoing mail, retail operations, customer
satisfaction issues and dissemination of safety rules to all employees.
Analyzed daily/monthly reports before submission with specific attention regarding: regulation and
maintenance of accurate balances. Reports included those related to mail volume, sick leave use
and percentages, overtime and productivity.
Intermittently handled the close-out procedures, handling thousands of dollars in cash and
assuring that all retail was in balance.
Represented the Postal Service at community board meetings, which involved answering
questions and handling complaints pertaining to delivery of mail in the area.
Worked with Human Resources and Labor Relations department in regard to maintaining the
actual complement and also assisted employees with questions about their health and retirement
