SATCOM/Wideband Craftsman and FTSAT Crew Chief, 33rd Communications Squadron, Tinker AFB, OK

• Managed various satellite and wideband terminals in support of President of the United States (POTUS),

humanitarian, and Operation Iraqi Freedom missions.

• Troubleshot and performed depot-level maintenance on cables, high power amplifiers, multiplexers, modems,

up/down converters and antennas for satellite and LOS terminals through use of complex test instruments and

own technical judgment.

• Led project that Air Mobilized and deployed 30 Satellite and Wideband terminals to various locations supporting

8 field training exercises within 9 months ensuring mission readiness.

SATCOM/Wideband Technician, 39th Communications Squadron, Incirlik AFB, Turkey

• Performed installation, maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of $4M Defense Information Infrastructure &

Emergency Action Message Systems (EAMS) that included two satellite terminals.

• Revamped workcenter requisitions and stock supplies processes which allowed near real-time order and updates

of critical components.

SATCOM/Wideband Technician, 52nd Combat Communications Squadron, Robins AFB, GA

Oct 2000-Jan 2005

• Led readiness and sustainment of over $6M worth of Tropospheric, LOS, and SATCOM terminals.

• Operated, maintained, coordinated system restoral on 7 satellite/wideband terminals, 7 LOS radios, and associated

equipment valued over $18M supporting Operation SOUTHERN WATCH.

• Deployed to Iraqi in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM; Operated and serviced 2 SATCOM terminals, 11

microwave radio links, Global Broadcast Service, INMARSAT, 15 Armed Forces Network (AFN) installs, and

associated equipment valued over $22M.
