PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

GVK (AHPCL) ALAKNANDA HYDRO POWER COMPANY LIMITED (82.5x4 MW) Since October 2013 as an

Engineer.

• Looking after the gamut of activities pertaining to maintenance of various equipments, performing

predictive/breakdown/preventive maintenance for reducing machinery downtime to minimum & implementing measures to

enhance operational efficiency.

• Responsible for Erection & Commissioning of Rotor and Stator and done all the testing.

• Responsible for Balance of plant (BOP) like, cable tray installation, compressed air system, IP bus duct.

• Adept in utilizing the man power for eliminating the breakdowns at a time of breakdowns on parallel machines or in the shift.

• Contributing to the on job training on the different topics for customizing the brainpower of maintenance person.

• Verifying Layouts for the projects as per the material flow needs.

• Installation & calibration of different Turbine & Generator Instruments – Electromagnetic Flow Meter, Vibration monitor,

RTD’s, DTD’s, Motorized valves, Capacitive type Oil Indicator, Pressure Switches etc.

• Operation of MIV OPU, Governor Hydrolic Control Cabinet.

• Preparing Check Lists of all M/c Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Check List of Electronics equipments.

• Rigorously completing the preventive and predictive maintenance or over hauling of machines accordingly Preventive check

sheet schedule and as per required.

• Accountable for all machines BACKUP updated and makes the INVENTORY of all machines, Instrumental in verifying the

material traceability.

• Responsible for commissioning of SEE (Static excitation equipment).

• Knowledge of 400KV switchyard.

• Knowledge of Fire Fighting, HVAC Installation Operation & commissioning.

• Knowledge of Maintenances of GENERATOR,TURBINE(FRANCIS), TRANSFORMER & COOLING WATER

SYSTEM COOLERS and daily breakdown maintains and making record of all activity and daily routine check (like oil

level, brackes, pressure of cooling water, oil pressure etc ) weekly routine check (like battery bank) and making update

of all record.
