RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Applications Engineering Intern, Significant Technical Supplies. 2012 - 2013
Reviewed technical aspects of orders and communicated this with non-technical management.
Revised and interpreted design drawings for order processing.
Identified the needs of the customers and communicated with the suppliers.
Devised an operation manual for a high pressure, high temperature reactor for corrosion testing.
Member, SAE Concordia. 2009-2012
Contributed to the design of the super-mileage vehicle to make it more aerodynamic in order to reduce
drag and increase fuel efficiency.
Assisted in the procurement and machining of parts.
KEY ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Hyperbaric Chamber (Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy) September 2013 - April 2014
Demonstrated innovative ability as the sole mechanical design, stress, and manufacturing engineer in
application of core mechanical engineering skills.
Played a vital role as technical liaison between the project supervisor and the team.
Designed the vessel according to ASME PVHO-1 and ASME Section VIII BPV codes, performed FEA and
CFD using CATIA and ANSYS.
Designed and implemented the P&ID for controlled air flow, environment control and monitoring.
Played a major part in assembly, testing, writing reports, and presenting the project to the Capstone
Decision Committee and the public.
Personal Energy Generation Device for iPhone Summer 2013
Designed and developed a personal energy generation device built into the cover of the iPhone.
Utilized kinetic energy from movement to charge the iPhone using multiple solenoids and springs.
Achieved a maximum theoretical charging capacity of 75%.
Resonant Inspection (Non-Destructive Testing) Fall 2013
Devised an automated system for implementation of resonant inspection for mass produced, small-
scale, hard components.
Piezoelectric transducers were used to test the full body on an automated line, the defected pieces are
separated from the good pieces for further testing or refabricating.
Redesign of the main landing gear for Piper Arrow IV Winter 2012
Redesigned using provided specifications and followed Canadian Aviation regulations to ensure
airworthiness.
Performed iterative calculations to achieve highest efficiency.
Carried out stress analysis using Solidworks to achieve appropriate safety factor resulting in reduced
load and increased payload.
Quality Control and Reliability Project Winter 2014
Analyzed data collected from a furniture warranty packaging department using various control charts
to determine the defected pieces.
Presented recommendations as per the results in order to enhance the efficiency of the process.
RESEARCH
Research proposal to Hydro Quebec on “Implementation of Smart Grids in Quebec”.
Research paper on “Advanced Composite Materials in Manufacturing of Efficient and Durable Aircrafts”.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Certified Person In-Charge, Subway Restaurants. 2009 - 2014
