Managed Care Liaison, Tri-County Respite: Quakertown, PA; September 2014 - present
Document all behavioral health services that residents receive to provide information to
insurance companies.
Mentor, Tri-County Respite: Quakertown, PA; July 2013 - August 2014.
I worked one-on-one with residents to assist them with following the goals of their treatment
plans. I assisted the residents with social interaction, use of community resources, independent
living skill development, and recovery goals. The residents have a wide range of mental
illnesses, including schizophrenia, depression, anorexia, etc. I was also responsible for
administering medications.
Intern, University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro: Plainsboro, NJ; January-
June 2012. I had a six-month Internship in the Center for Eating Disorders Care. Some of my
responsibilities included: interacting with patients to provide support and redirection,
documenting patient information, attending treatment rounds, assisting with unit activities,
monitoring meals, and monitoring bathrooms, walks, and use of privileges.
Volunteer, Willow Valley Supportive Living Communities: Willow Street, PA; fall 2010.
Volunteering at The Glen, I assisted elderly residents that had a wide range of psychiatric
problems, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. Some of my responsibilities included
talking with the residents individually and in groups, taking residents on walks, transporting the
residents throughout the building, and leading sing-alongs and games.
Project Support Specialist, Metis Associates: New York City; summer 2009.
At Metis Associates I worked as a Project Support Specialist in the area of educational surveys
and testing. I completed data entry and various other tasks, such as contacting clients, writing
transcriptions, and office maintenance.
