WORK EXPERIENCE
Bartender/server
Moksa Restaurant - May 2014 to May 2014
Moksa is a Pan-Asian Sushi restaurant with an additional night club attached called Naga. For the past couple
of months I've been working in Moksa as a server and front end bartender. Thus far I've gained a firm grasp
on tapas-style serving, along with the construction of craft cocktails.
Bartender
Royale Night Club - September 2012 to April 2014
For nearly two years I served as a bartender at Royale Night Club; the largest club in the city of Boston. The
Venue hosts concerts, corporate events, and opens for the night club on weekend evenings. Due to such a
high-volume environment I grew accustom to working at a fast, friendly, and organized pace.
Receptionist/Bookkeeper
University of Massachusetts Boston - Boston, MA - September 2011 to September 2013
During my time in Art Department I maintained the role of the front desk receptionist. I was in charge of
answering all phone calls, scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and organizing data using excel
spreadsheets. For this position I also did a lot of filing of student records, and helped to condense and revamp
the filing system as well.
Promotions/ Marketing
Royale Night Club - 2011 to December 2011
As a member of Royale Boston's promotional street team it was my duty to promote events, and attract
newcomers to the venue. My responsibilities included marketing through social media, along with public
advertisement.
Waitress
The Brant Rock Market - September 2010 to August 2011
Before closing down in Fall of 2011, I had been a waitress at this delicatessen-style café. Serving breakfast,
lunch, and dinner entrees, I occupied the dining room as a solo server, catering to up to ten tables at a time. I
also managed the to-go orders by answering telephone calls and imputing orders into the restaurant's computer
system, Micros.
Cashier/bakery & deli assistant
The Brant Rock Market - August 2008 to August 2011
When I first began working at this market I specialized in preparing both baked goods and subs/sandwiches.
Once I became of age to use the ovens and meat slicers I was introduced to the baking and cooking spectrum
of the job. Soon after I was promoted to a cashier position where I catered to the grocery, lottery, tobacco,
and other special needs of the customers.
