As site manager, I am responsible for managing five other employees. I am
the overseer of a 100 unit property that houses the elderly and disabled
population. My regular duties include: enforcing the policies and
procedures set forth by HUD, the management company and the property
owners, maintaining client confidentiality, preparing monthly HAP vouchers
for payment of the subsidized rents, certifying tenants, resident
relations, file maintenance, use of basic office equipment and much more.
06/10-08/11 Administrative Assistant, the Elder Edward Buckner Miracle
Village Complex
This job required me to perform basic office duties such as: filing,
answering phones, using the computer & copier and sending and receiving
faxes. In addition, I was also responsible for maintaining all financial
records, including payroll through QuickBooks. I was also responsible for
preparing and submitting monthly reports to HUD. It was my duty to
correspond with the company's accountant for financial matters (i.e. tax
information, etc.) I also collected the rent from tenants, prepared
deposits for the bank and filled out work orders. I served as the
Activities Coordinator for the facility. I assisted with the daily meal
distribution. I prepared a monthly newsletter which provided informative
information on energy tips, health issues and important upcoming activities
and events. I helped to establish the Miracle Market and Miracle Village
choir.

My position entailed: answering a multi-line phone, typing letters to
insurance carriers daily, processing worker's compensation claims into an
internal data system, communicating with workers compensation auditors and

my co-workers.
