PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

QPSI - Edwardsville, IL 2014-

Operations Manager, secondary packaging company of consumer goods

. Responsible for the production, maintenance, and shipping & receiving

areas

. Managed up to 8 production lines at any given time involving up to 140

hourly workers

. Created floor layouts and other documentation supporting the 75 plus

brand codes being produced

. Managed one direct supervisor and 8 Master Leads in the production

activities on a daily basis

LANDSHIRE - Caseyville, IL 2012-2013

Production Manager, premium sandwich maker for the convenience food

industry

. Responsible for up to 120 non union employees covering 7 production lines

in the production of up to 900,000 premium sandwiches per week

. Assisted in the plant recently achieving an SQF (Safe Quality Food) Level

3 certification (highest level)

. Developed a metrics tracking database used daily to determine production

efficiencies for the use of process improvement initiatives

. Personally trained new employees on GMPs and SQF rules prior to starting

work

. Created the documentation for the bread rotation process for incoming

bread used on the production floor to ensure that correct lot numbers

COTT BEVERAGES - Maryland Heights/Berkley, MO 2010-2012

employee in loading/unloading activities for up to 50 tractor trailers to

meet daily schedules

. Supervised 5 union Production Technicians in the production of bottled

water/tea at a rate of up to 36,000 bottles per hour

metrics in a Value Stream driven environment

various production metrics from each department involving safety,

quality, delivery, and cost

improvement and cost saving initiatives achieving the company goals of

manpower reductions of 10%

in daily overtime activity focusing on end of shift repairs so as to meet

daily production goals.

. Managed a select group of employees in the daily rework activity of

paint, body, and mechanical defects to over 50 vehicles to expedite for

delivery in a timely manner.

TRAINING GROUP INTERNATIONAL/VMS - Windsor, ON (Canada) 1999-2002

Team Lead, Launch Readiness Project (Daimler Chrysler - St. Louis South and

North Plants)

. Maintained the data in a database of over 1000 items to monitor the

completion status in relation to the overall project deliverables of a

new model production launch

. Trained hourly and salaried personnel of the new changes and

responsibilities that came with the production of the new model as it

related to their departments

. Interacted with several departments ensuring that their launch issues

were properly documented and tracked for closure in the project database

in order to prepare the production facilities and personnel for a smooth

launch of pilot vehicles

quality issues to many levels of management that identified progress of

the launch

. While managing a group of engineers, the team evaluated over 1000

manufacturing processes to identify issues relating to tooling, stock
