FAILURE ASSESSEMENT OF NOTHCED COMPOSITE PLATES SUBJECTED TO

TENCILE AND COMPRESSIVE LOADS:

The extensive use of the composite materials has stimulated the researchers to formulate an

accurate empirical relation which could accurately determine the failure of the composite

structures. This project is aimed at determining an empirical relation, for the load bearing

capacity of a centre-holed composite laminate structure, backed by a systematic evaluation

procedure of raw test data from various published papers.

ESTIMATION AND VALIDATION OF CRITICAL LOAD AT THE INITIATION OF

DE LAMINATION GROWTH IN THE CARBON EPOXY COMPOSITE:

In this project when the compressive forces are applied on double cantilever beam there is

some micro cracks can be developed due to that the beam can be break down. So we can assume

some cracks can ne put their finding the strain energy in the beam.

EDGE AVODING ROBOT:

In this project the edge avoiding robot can avoid edges and abstracles following it’s straight path.

These robot can have two sensors and the sensors can sense the information to the

microcontroller and this can help to avoid edges.

INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE:

• Under gone industrial training in “KWALITY FORGIE” for a period of 30days.

• Visited K.C.P SUGAR FACTORY.

WORKSHOPS ATTENDED:

• Attended a Robo Genius and Workshop on Robotics held by K L UNIVERSITY

organized by Robosapiens Technologies Pvt Ltd.

• Attended a one day national workshop on “Alternative Energies-2012” conducted by

“Department of Mechanical Engineering” in K L UNIVERSITY.
