To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for accepting my resume as application for the Phlebotomist position you are
seeking. Before I became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Intensive Care and as an Office
Nurse for an Internal Medicine doctor who specialized in pediatrics, I worked for three
years at Flint Osteopathic hospital as a phlebotomist and as an EKG Technician.
I have become more than familiar with the necessary processes, computer organization,
and record keeping that is required of a phlebotomist. At the same time I strive to make
each patient feel as if they are the only one I am working with. I have a great deal of
experience assisting medical staff and communicating with patients. In all of the positions
I have held, working with, and helping people is the common denominator. I am truly
excited at the possibility of accepting whatever challenges you have in store.
Your time and consideration is very much appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you
soon and to scheduling an interview at a time of convenience.
Sincerely,
Patricia Tinetti-Dost

To Whom It May Concern:
I am very pleased to have the opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Patti Tinetti-Dost. Patti has
been employed in the laboratory at Internal Medicine of Northern Michigan as a phlebotomist for about 2.5
years.
In her role as a phlebotomist, Patti was responsible for proper preparation and collection of laboratory
specimens, processing samples, preparing samples for send out testing, entering lab results into flow sheets into
our EHR and following office procedures. During her employment she developed many computer related skills
and improved her phlebotomy skills in particular with our geriatric patients. Patti appreciates and takes very
seriously her role in providing quality laboratory results. She has full understanding that that quality begins with
proper collection. Patti also is very compassionate with her patients and goes the extra mile to make each one
feel special.
I am confident that whatever challenge comes Patti’s way, she will face it head on with hard work and
dedication. Patti speaks often of how much she loves her job. She would be an asset to any facility who is
fortunate enough to employ her.
Please consider Patti Tinetti-Dost as a candidate for employment at your facility.
If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Karen J. Williams, BSMT(ASCP)
