WORK EXPERIENCE:

TRINITECH CONSULTING INC: UNIX/Linux System Administrator; May 2010 to

present.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Introducing Solaris 10 and Centos 6.4 servers to network environments: OS installation and

configuration: standard and advanced (net installation and jumpstart).

Installing, Uninstalling and Configuring packages on Solaris10 and Linux servers using pkgadd,

pkgutil, yum, and rpm utilities.

Hardening, Patching Solaris 10 servers (using 10-recommended patches), and upgrades (release)

on standalone servers using (single user mode), and on production servers (live upgrade).

Setup, configure and troubleshooting TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NFS, CIFS, SSH and SAMBA

servers on Multiplatform LAN.

Performs Monitoring and Log Management on UNIX/LINUX servers, including processes, crash

dumps and, swap management, with password recovery and performance tuning.

Use bash shell scripting, AT command, Crontab to schedule tasks and automate processes

including full and incremental backups using cpio, ufsdump and tar: Expand and migrate file

systems on Solaris 10 using fssnap.

Setup whole root zones/containers on Solaris 10 for application management; modify zone

setting, network settings, import file systems and migrating zone paths and migrating zones

between Solaris 10 Servers.

Perform multiplatform volume management using SVM, LVM, ZFS, NAS, and VERITAS

volume manager. Installed and configured a LAN-wide FreeNAS X86, created and attached

LUNS on Solaris 10 and windows 2008 servers using ISCSI utility. Installed and configured

ISCSI Utility on RHEL/Centos 6.4 server.

Setup a domain and Active directory on Windows 2008 server. Installed and configure samba

server on Solaris 10 and Centos 6.4 server and mapping to windows 2008 server.

Configure apache web server on Solaris 10: install and configure samba server for quick

publishing using third-party web page maker.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

As part of a dedicated and skilled Team, Customer satisfaction is and remains my top priority. I

am glad to have contributed significantly in creating a network of customers whom the Company

offers IT support. I have also contributed significantly in creating a clear record of identified
