(both public and private), in addition to State of Wisconsin Emergency
Management and FEMA. Administer above duties directly and through a
staff of seven occupational safety and health officers. Conduct physical
and administrative audits of tribal enterprises, community support
operations, and governmental entities for compliance with established
regulations. Evaluate and recommend SOPs to ensure safe and healthy work
environments in new expansion projects. Conduct OSHA required "new hire"
training and annual "refreshers" to promote safety compliance.
Facilitate hands-on instruction to ensure full and proper understanding
of operation of equipment and processes. Review incident reports and
implement programs to mitigate both physical & financial exposure.
Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports of progress and activities
engaged in, to achieve the long-term goal of zero incidents. Officiate
process of hazard identification and exposure levels in daily activities
- conduct spot checks of new processes for physical and environmental
hazards.
