I am an experienced design professional with more than 20 years of expertise in electronic and manual mapping systems. I
have been actively utilizing AutoCAD and GIS technologies since their inception in various engineering and regulatory
environments. Process a wealth of experience with raster and vector data formats from DWG, GeoTIFF to complex
geodatabase. Enjoy using my analytical and technical skill sets as a company resource for the creation of solutions to

2010- 2014 Free Flow Power Corp, Boston, Massachusetts – GIS/CAD Manager
Implemented CAD & GIS capabilities at start-up Power Development Company. Acquired, created and maintained over
400 gigabytes of geospatial and design data supporting the feasibility analysis some 156 projects in various stages of
development. Power developments ranged from Hydrokinetic, Pumped storage and Conventional Hydroelectric Projects.
Primarily driven by the FERC regulatory process created many FERC exhibits which included PPA, PAD, Exhibit F and
Exhibit G drawings required for FERC license application documents.
2003- 2010 Lombardo Associates, Inc., Newton, Massachusetts – CAD/GIS Manager
Integral member of engineering team involved in the design of wastewater treatment and collection systems. Developed
design drawings of patented NitrexTM nitrogen removal process in commercial, residential and cluster wastewater system
projects. Projects included multiple countywide wastewater planning studies. Studies that required extensive data creation,
manipulation and presentation.
2000-2003 Louis Berger Group Inc., Needham, Massachusetts - GIS Manager
Managed GIS program of the engineering and planning divisions for Berger's the New England region. Data capture and
acquisition of GIS datasets supporting Berger New England offices. Provided database development and analytical
services for infrastructure design and planning projects. Supervised trained others and preformed GPS data collection
efforts utilizing sub-meter accuracy equipment with external sensors and customized data dictionaries field data
collection.
Project work included:
GIS and technical support for Berger's efforts as the prime contractor for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
(FERC) including the development of software and hardware solutions for data acquisition efforts employed by
compliance inspectors on the FERC projects. Recreation studies for various utility companies. I created an enterprise GIS
system for 3 hydroelectric power facilities. I conducted GIS analysis at various airport facilities supporting noise and
obstruction studies. Created mapping of environmental constraints along various Gas pipeline and Electric Transmission
lines.
Administrative Duties:
Maintaining ArcGIS software products with extensions and accompanying yearly maintenance agreements. GPS
equipment setup and training of new users while maintaining cost recovery on the equipment. Project Manager for GIS
database development projects. Task manager for GIS components of engineering projects including development of task
related budgets and schedules for projects and proposals.
1998-2000 TranSystems Corp., Colorado Springs, Colorado - CAD/GIS Coordinator
Integral member of team start up office of national transportation engineering company. Developed and maintained
CAD,GIS & Graphics production capabilities. Maintain company and client specific standards including CDOT standards.
Provided support to various TranSystems offices on a variety of transportation planning and transportation engineering
projects. I developed modeling utilizing TransCAD software for Rocky Mountain offices of TranSystems.
Project work included:
Colorado DOT roadway and traffic safety improvements in the region. Transportation studies in Fallon, Nevada arid
Manhattan, Kansas. I completed parking facilities design at Intermodal facility in Memphis, Tennessee. CAD,GIS &
Graphics production for proposals and traffic studies.
Administrative Duties:
Network administrator and computer resource person for the Colorado Springs office. Acquisition setup and maintenance
of computer equipment and software for the Colorado Springs office
1995-1998 Louis Berger & Associates Inc., Needham, Massachusetts - CAD Manager
Maintained Berger standards for CADD/GIS production including client specific standards including MHD, NIDOT,
RIDOT, NHDOT, VAOT, & NCDOT standards. I coordinated the CAD deliverables from subs on multi-disciplinary
transportation engineering projects. Trimble GPS equipment utilized for data acquisition on project tasks.
Project work included:
Roadway Reconstruction projects, Traffic Signal Improvement projects, GIS task assignments related to Transportation
and Environmental projects. Various Environmental Impact Reports.
Administrative Duties:
Managed staff supervision, task assignment and reporting to project managers to provide proper project setup, workflow
coordination to maintaining project schedules of ongoing CAD production efforts.
1987-1995 Earth Tech, Concord, Massachusetts - Section Manager of Imagery Services
Implemented CAD & GIS capabilities at Earth Tech (formerly HMM Associates). Managed support group in the areas of
CAD, GIS and Graphics production on a variety Environmental Permitting, Civil Engineering and Environmental
Engineering projects. Developed maintained and enforced company standards for CADD/Graphics production as well as
client specific standards for MHD & NHDOT projects.
Project work included:
Residential subdivisions, commercial developments, roadways, traffic signals, survey base plans, groundwater studies,
groundwater treatment systems, landfill closures, wetland replication, EIR'S, NOI'S, Chapter 404 & Chapter 91 permit
application plans.
Administrative Duties:
Supervision of company and vendor personnel included interviewing, hiring, and performance appraisals. I was
responsible coordination, scheduling with all departments and branch offices including cost estimating and budget
tracking project work. Management of vendors for project related deliverables such as computer equipment plotters,
printers, network servers, reprographics, and aerial photography, photogrammetry, and site surveys.

Urban Systems Projects Civil Designer
Several roadway safety improvements projects in Boston, Braintree, and Agawam Massachusetts. Involved coordination
of multiple agency standards, such as Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, Massachusetts Highway Department,
Boston Water and Sewer Commission and Boston Redevelopment Authority

South End Urban Renewal Project (City of Boston, Massachusetts)
Performed drafting & civil design on various types of design plans associated with the South End Urban Renewal Project.
Projects included street reconstruction, sidewalk reconstruction, sewer & drainage design, water main replacement and
Parcel plans. Maintained project standards for plans submitted to the Boston Redevelopment Authority. Project field
activities consisted of performing field surveys including tape surveys and field edits on urban renewal design projects.
