PROJECT DETAILS:-

POWER GENERATION FROM SHOCK ABSORBERS

This project uses simple Rack and Pinion drive mechanism .As the vehicle runs over the set-up.

Rack moves up and down motion with this electrical energy is generated by using this mechanism. The

pinion shaft is coupled with larger sprocket and is connected to the supporter by end bearings. Smaller

sprocket is driven by larger sprocket using gear mechanism. The flywheel and gear wheel are mounted

on smaller sprocket shaft. Flywheel is used to avoid the fluctuations of speed of smaller shaft. The gear

wheel on the Generator shaft is meshed with the gear wheel on the sprocket shaft. Alternator used is

permanent magnet D.C Alternator to generate 12v by non-conventional method.
