Title: Design and Simulation of Variable Valve Timing System in IC Engines.
Guide: V.Naga Prasad
Description: The main objective of the project is to design a VVT System for IC Engines and analyze
different valve timing strategies. The project includes analysis of the valve lift and crank angle for both
SI and CI Engines for different valve timing strategies and compared with the conventional valve
opening strategies. Design of the model is made using Solid-Works and analysis of different valve
strategies is done using GT Power Computer Simulation Software and different graphs are generated.

analysis, major business sector of the market and inventory plan is made.
Summer Internship:
Title: Capacity Estimation of a Reservoir
Place: Aandhra Pradesh Engineering Research Laboratories, Himayath Sagar, Hyderabad
Duration: 8 weeks
Description: Capacity estimation of a reservoir is done in Sedimentation Division, APERL. The process
includes manually taking depths in the reservoir by traveling in pre-designed range lines using FRP Boat
and Noting down the values of the depth and the distances traveled, The data is saved in XL Spread
Sheet. Process the values in surfer software to calculate the total capacity of the reservoir.
