OBJECTIVE: To obtain a challenging intern in RF and Microwave Engineering/Signal Processing for Spring 2015 so as to
utilize the skills learnt in the engineering field and contribute to the growth of the company.
EDUCATION:
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering CGPA: 3.0 May 2015(expected)
The University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, Texas
B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering CGPA: 3.6 May 2013
Osmania University

Database: SQL
Simulators: Simulink
Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
Course Work: RF Circuit Design, Optical Communication Systems, Fields and Waves, RF Amplifier Design,RF Systems
Engineering, Random Process, Digital Signal Processing
Academic Projects:
• Ultra-wide Band Power Divider
Designed an unequal Wilkinson Power Divider for an Ultra-wide band to get good in band and isolation performance. A novel
design was implemented to the existing design so that keeping the frequency constant, the circuit was improved to get better
isolation.
• Design of Two stage Broad Band RF Amplifier
This project applies the RF and Microwave concepts to design a broadband RF amplifier that is used as a front-end amplifier for
receivers using Microwave Office and Matlab.
• Design of a Low Noise Amplifier:
Microwave Office was used to design a 2-stage Low Noise Amplifier. The gain, noise figure were calculated. The network was
matched, and later the network was biased. After finding all these values the stability analysis was conducted to find if the
amplifier was unconditionally stable or unstable.
• DTMF Transmitter Receiver
Designed DTMF Transmitter/Receiver in Matlab for Signal Processing and implemented GUI for the design.
• Communication Link
Designed a communication link consisting of Radar (Transmitter and Receiver) and Satellite (Transmitter and Receiver). In this
project, with the help of the communication link and an eye blink sensor, we could detect if a person is drunk and driving. After
getting this information, using the satellite link, other car drivers can be alerted and accidents can be avoided.
• Changing the Sampling Rate of a speech signal
The interpolation and decimation techniques are used to alter the sampling rate or the frequency of a speech signal taken from
the user as an input. This program was written and executed in MATLAB.
• RF Lab
Completed a course work in RF Laboratory in under graduation. Some of the experiments included measurement of S
parameters of various transmission lines, detection of faults in transmission lines and designing of matching networks.
• Density Based Traffic Control
To control traffic flow at junctions using the Microcontroller 8051. The programming was done in the Keil software. Utilized
the ExpressPCB software to fabricate the PCB used in the project.
• Internship
Completed a two months internship in BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, India, Hyderabad) . Manufacturing of turbo
generators was done using the VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) method. In large scale industries which manufacture
generators, insulation plays a pivotal role. If the insulation fails, the generator fails leading to core losses. So the VPI method is
used. The generator is kept in a resin thereafter creating a vacuum. By doing this the strength of the resin increases and the
insulation of the generator is strengthened, thereby increasing the longevity of the generator.
