I have been a CNC machinist since honorably discharged from the United
States Navy in February 2, 1980. While in the service I worked on P 3 Orions,
Turboprop Airplanes, and Anti Sub Warfare. I have also worked on F 4 and
F 18 Fighter Jets.
I was an Aviation Structural Mechanic and my duties were to troubleshoot
and repair the air conditioning, pressurization, and oxygen systems of eleven
airplanes. My duties also included being the shop supervisor, maintenance
inspector, and training petty officer. When honorably discharged my rank
was E 5.
I am a detailed task oriented person, mechanically inclined, ambitious,
conscientious, dependable, and I work well with others as well as being a self
starter. I have experience meeting required deadlines in a fast paced
environment.
I have ran multiple types of materials, including but not limited to:
Delron, Nylon, Peek, Aluminum, 303 316 Stainless, Inkenell, brass and cast
iron. I have ran a Hass CNC lathe and have set up and operated several Mori
Seki SL 1, SL 150, and SL 3 CNC lathes that had Yasnac and FANC controls.
I can perform editing when necessary.
