July 2013-Present Maintenance Manager & Production supervisor, PolyOne Plastics, Louisville Ky.
Oversee and coordinate all phases of plant maintenance, capital projects, contractor activities associated with
the 200 thousand plus Louisville facility. Responsible for administration of million dollar maintenance
budget. Administrator for e-maint and direct supervisor of 4 maintenance personnel and 35 production
personnel in two different Union settings. Safety officer and management negotiator for union matters.
Directly oversees plant power infrastructure to include harmonics, power factor reduction and steam usage.
Coordinated plant shift realignment and infrastructure costs reductions to accomplish corporate long term
goals. Designed and initiated company wide policy for Predictive maintenance and vibration analysis.
Certified as Dynamic vibration analyst level 3 through Vibration Institutes. Participated in C line Kaizen for
material change reduction. Designed, Engineered and Fabricated; Line automated diverter chute, Partial tote

Feb 2012- July 2013 Technical Supervisor II, Sunoco Logistics Mid Valley Pipeline, Oxford Ms. Technical
engineer for all aspects of continuous operation of the 500 mile pipeline. Directly supervising 3 electrical
technicians and 2 mechanical technicians in a union environment. Responsible for a budget of 1.5 million
dollars and special projects in excess of 1/4 million dollars. Advised technicians on work to be performed
involving SCADA controls and protocols, pump repairs, medium voltage equipment maintenance, NEC,
OSHA, DOT, NFPA, ANSI and API compliance. Designed and oversaw Mayersville, MS pumping station
electrical overhaul, integration and upgrade. Designed and installed RTUs for pumping station and multi tank
control. Designed protocols and topography for enhanced system reliability. Designed cost savings
initiatives at 3 off line pumping stations through medium voltage use reductions that would result in a cost
savings in excess of 275,000 dollars per year in annual operating costs. Enacted several SOPs in the district
that enhanced system reliability and ensured system integrity including navigatible waterway block valve
moisture abatement. Oversaw AB HMI integration at New Johnsonville, Tn pumping station. Rewarded by

Trade Office. Lead negotiator on purchase of former company and reduction related patents. Negotiated

Engineered and Designed 60 KW solvent/styrene distiller system. Oversaw and directed the conceptual idea
of Expanded Polystyrene reclamation and plastic recovery. Was company point on legal, patent, design,
profitability and inception. Oversaw all company contract negotiations and implementations of design.
Orchestrated and set up system symposiums and engineering design sessions. Was liaison between all
equipment suppliers, installers and engineers. Set up and designed production goals and quality control

SandCom was a complete Mechanical Contracting company, we installed commercial and industrial HVAC
equipment and related components. I also installed and welded high pressure gas lines, installed industrial air
equipment and piping, installed control cabinets and ran related plc cables and connections, built and
designed expanded polystyrene high temperature cutting equipment, installed electrical services to machinery,
designed and built steel fabricated elevation equipment. Installed and serviced reciprocating and centrifugal
chillers. Installed and made cooling and ozonator connections to injection molding equipment. Designed and
built MMI panels as cost saving measures in commercial and industrial settings.
Mar 1992 – Mar 1996 Maintenance Supervisor, Mouser Kitchens, Inc, Elizabethtown, Ky 49,000 year staff of 5
Setup and designed numerous production cost cutting measures to include a design of factory production
machinery layout. Setup and initiated a preventative maintenance program and a comprehensive predictive
program. Cut production down time by one- third. On shelf Inventory reduced 35%. Put forth cost cutting
measures in Kvar and load utilization. Troubleshot PLC failures and control cabinet malfunctions on
480/208/3ph equipment. Troubleshot and repaired AC frequency drive conveyor systems. Designed and
drafted all prints and Research and Development experiences. Project manager for 3 million dollar plant
