line of an auto component. (Enhanced production capacity by 14%, reduced bottleneck of resources and achieved

better utilizations at different workstations on the line)

• Building a Database for the Veterans of America Medical Centre (Durham) -Created a database application for the

Ambulatory Care Service of the Veterans of America Medical Center at Durham with MS Access (using in built SQL,

Visual Basic).Scheduling clinics, rooms, doctors and support staff across different sites within the medical center.

• Manufacturing Process Control Simulation - ITEC, Inc. is a fictional manufacturing company that makes hand-held

electronic devices for use in inventory control. The purpose of the ITEC simulation project is to allow us to make

important strategic and tactical manufacturing decisions, observe how those decisions unfold over time, and use their

observations to guide and refine their decisions in future planning periods. Involves demand forecasting, product mix

for production, MPS, MRP, Shop Scheduling.

Tulip Engineering Intern at GKN Driveline, Mebane NC, USA Aug’13-Present

• Developed Quality control documents like A3, control plans, quality flash cards, quality alerts for Toyota & Ford.

• Inspected scrapped parts returning from customers, found relations and reasons associated to the defects using tools

like ISHIKAWA diagram, 5 WHY analysis etc.

• Analyzed the trend of defects using weighted Pareto analysis and SPC tools to focus on the prime ones.

• Improved and implemented various changes in Process Instructions at Quality Gates for all Tulip Cells.

• Calculated Process Capability (CpK) and Process Performance Indices (PpK) of machines on the shop.
