Responsibilities
Supervised the maintenance staff and transportation staff on a daily basis. I assigned all work for the
maintenance staff and followed through to make sure the issues were resolved in an efficient and productive
manner. I also took care of rehabbing units as necessary. I handled all incoming calls from clients and resolved
all issues in a timely and efficient manner. Purchasing all maintenance supplies and equipment, making sure
all buses and vans were in safe working order, worked with outside vendors to ensure all equipment was
working as needed, maintained a preventive maintenance program on all equipment and facilities were also
part of my scope of work.
Accomplishments
I lowered departmental costs by closely monitoring the staff and changing procedures for operations as
necessary to make the team more productive and more efficient. I closely monitored all invoices for correct
charges for time and materials. I chose vendors who would deliver exceptional service to meet my schedule at
a fair price. I prepared financial reports for management on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to validate
our operating budget. I monitored payroll and paid time off and scheduled to meet long and short term goals.
