Managed the daily operations of the plastic molding department with a staff

of five departmental leads and 40 employees. Responsibilities included

selection, training, and supervision of all departmental personnel; annual

standards; achievement of Mil. Spec. quality standards; tooling maintenance

and repair; tooling design engineering and modification: trouble shooting

of production, process and machine problems; and selection of new capital

corporate Safety Communications.

Specific Accomplishments: Increased productivity by 20% and decreased labor

budget by $100,000 a year through tooling modifications and light

automation.

Reported directly to plant owner. Managed the three shift/seven day a week

operation of the entire plant which included five supervisory personnel,
