WORK EXPERIENCE
Tri Tech Services & Supply, Project Engineer Middlesex, NJ
01/2007 – Current
Manage personnel and project timeline to meet deadline requirements
Provide customers with multiple system options for hydraulic retrofitting
Respond to client inquiries in relation to the performance of equipment
Traveled to customer locations to provide hydraulic system troubleshooting
Analyze and diagnosed pump and cylinder failures
Gulfstream Aerospace, Systems Safety Engineering Intern Savannah, GA
05/2013 – 08/2013
Analyzed and developed functional understanding of an auto flight system architecture to
provide failure mode analysis for catastrophic and major failure conditions
Collaborated with system specialists and test pilots to develop a qualitative analysis of an
auto flight system to create a system analysis
Provided quantitative data by generating fault tress and cut sets in CAFTA using FMEAs
Designed two different aircraft models in CATIA that were used for hazard zone
testing per DO 160G requirements
United Airlines, Systems Engineering Intern San Francisco, CA
01/2012 – 08/2012
Attended daily meetings to determine appropriate course of action for AOG conditions
Prepared cost analysis and reliability information of Service Bulletin modifications to
determine if the modification was worth the cost versus the increased safety or reliability
Prepared engineering orders for Airworthiness Directive and Service Bulletin compliance
Traveled to heavy check facilities to provide engineering assistance to fuel system prototypes
AGFA Corporation, Mechanical Engineering Design Intern Branchburg, NJ
05/2011 – 08/2011
Responsible for creating CAD drawings for parts that had no previous CAD
drawings
Analyzed and improved existing CAD drawings for ECG machine
Take accurate measurements of parts using calipers and durometers
Worked with a team of engineers and vendors to design a movable conveyor system
ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Auto flight System Safety Assessment, Gulfstream Aerospace
Drafted Auto Flight System Safety Assessment of an aircraft currently in development.
Analyzed documents and drawings of the auto flight system to obtain a functional
understanding of the system architecture. From a high level understanding of the system
architecture, I created all possible modes of failure for catastrophic and major conditions using
fault trees and cut sets in CAFTA per ARP 4754 guidelines.
757 300 Duct Cleaning, United Airlines
While looking for a part on 757 aircraft in heavy check, detected heavy contamination in bleed
air piping running to the A/C system. By running flow control tests, detected extreme loss in
efficiency due to contamination build up. Worked with senior engineers to create a
maintenance program for 757 fleet A/C duct cleaning.
A319/A320 Reliability Program, United Airlines
Created maintenance programs that increased the reliability of the Airbus fleet. The programs
included replacing refuel and water valves that caused major delays while the aircraft were
being prepared for take off. Estimated savings from the increased reliability are $34,000 per
take off per Airbus aircraft.
Conveyor Alignment System, AGFA Corporation
Using the concept of an automated garage door safety system, designed a safety system that
would detect movement and shut the system down so a person could not get pinned by the
conveyor. Designed a mounting system that held four sensors so if any movement was detected
between any two pair of sensors a system shut down was initiated.
